Heavenly Heat Saunas are built with natural wood, zero adhesives and low EMFs and claims to be the safest and cleanest sauna in the world. But does their ECO sauna still live up to this claim and perfrom well despite it's compact size?

The Heavenly Heat ECO is the most compact sauna in the company’s lineup, designed specifically for apartments, townhomes, and small indoor spaces where a traditional full-size sauna simply won’t fit.
Heavenly Heat Saunas are built with natural wood, zero adhesives, and ultra-low EMFs, and they claim to be the cleanest, safest infrared saunas available today. But does their smallest model the ECO still live up to those claims? And more importantly… does it still perform well despite its compact size? Let's find out.
An infrared sauna is a type of sauna that uses light, specifically infrared wavelengths, to heat your body directly rather than heating the air around you. Instead of relying on intense, ambient heat like a traditional sauna, infrared panels emit a gentle, penetrating warmth that raises your core temperature from the inside out.
This allows you to sweat more deeply at lower temperatures, making the experience more comfortable while still delivering powerful benefits like detoxification, improved circulation, muscle recovery, and relaxation.
Infrared saunas offer a range of benefits for both physical and mental well-being:
The ECO is super easy to build, largely because of its smaller size and lightweight wall panels.
Here’s where Heavenly Heat separates itself from 99% of the sauna industry:
✔ 100% pure Canadian hemlock wood
✔ No stains
✔ No glues
✔ No plywood
✔ Low VOCs and EMFs
This is a game changer as most sauna companies use adhesives, composite boards, or “non-toxic” coatings that still off-gas under heat. Heavenly Heat completely avoids that. Their units are independently tested for VOCs.
For anyone with mold sensitivity, chemical sensitivity, autoimmune issues, or on a detox protocol this is a massive deal. When you’re investing in a home sauna, especially for detox, mold recovery, or long-term health, the last thing you want is a unit that exposes you to more toxins or high EMFs.
Because the sauna is super compact it's ideal for smaller homes or apartments
Dimensions:

Because of its compact cubic volume, this sauna heats up fast. Inside the sauna, you’ll find a simple, intuitive control panel with the essentials:
Heating & Controls
Lighting
Audio
Ventilation
Low EMF Panels
Every infrared panel is positioned behind wooden slats, ensuring your body never sits directly against the heat source to improve comfort and reduce EMF exposure. Heavenly heat uses grounded low EMF/ELF heaters, faraday shielding, and no RF. EMF below 2 mg and ELF below 7 v/m.
This sauna doesn’t include red light therapy, but Heavenly Heat does offer models that integrate red light panels for those who want that option.

Before stepping inside, I grabbed my Trifield EMF meter to confirm whether the sauna lives up to its “lowest EMF on the market” claim. An EMF typical safe range is between 3-5mG and most readings landed around 0.3-1.0 mG. This is genuinely one of the lowest-EMF saunas I’ve ever tested. One hot spot was detected near the top corner (common in all saunas, near wiring), but where your head and torso sit, levels remained extremely low.
I started my session at at 140°F and hit the timer. 7 minutes in I began to lighly sweat, 10 minutes full river sweat and by 13 minutes i was drenched. Infrared heat in this sauna feels different, because its so compact. As you sit close to all the panels and the volume is smaller, the heat intensity is noticeably higher than in the 2-person or 4-person Heavenly Heat saunas and allows for very efficient sessions. The sauna has wooden slats to prevent you touching the heaters but you still may need to be careful not to lean too far backwards.
The experience itself was suprisingly cosy and not claustrophic due to the glass door, however I wouldn't recommend it if you're super tall (6'5"+). There's also a small window on the side of the sauna that lets move things in and out of the sauna super easily. For more info watch my full review video here.
Because the wood is light, you’ll want to lay a towel on the floor to prevent dirt stains, especially if you walk around barefoot like me. A towel also protects the wood from sweat, moisture buildup, and potential mold issues. Other than that, maintenance is minimal.
The 1 person ECO infrared sauna costs $5, 600 at retail, so is definitely a premium model. However you can get 6% off if you use code 'WELLNESSDADDY' at checkout.
Heavenly Heat provides an impressive 10-year warranty on the wood/carpentry and 6 years for electrical components including heater, which speaks volumes about the quality and durability of the materials. This is extremely rare in the sauna industry and shows the comoany expects this sauna to last a very long time.

The Heavenly Heat ECO is one of the most impressive compact infrared saunas I've seen. It delivers ultra low EMF's, zero toxins or adhesives, fast heat up times, a compact and easy set up, high durability and a rare 10-year warranty
If you're serious about detoxing, reducing EMF exposure, and getting a deep sweat without dedicating a whole room to a sauna, the ECO is one of the best options on the market.
It’s not the cheapest option, but you’re paying for craftsmanship, safety, and a premium experience that genuinely supports long-term healing.
After a thorough reivew it is Wellness Daddy Certified, and I’d feel confident recommending it to my own family. Use code WELLNESS DADDY to save 6% if you decide to purchase.
Heavenly Heat saunas are considered some of the best saunas on the market. They are known for their high-quality construction, use of non-toxic materials and ultra-low EMF output. They are a premium at home investment rather than a budget option.
Heavenly Heat Saunas are built in Arizona, USA.
Infrared saunas reach lower ambient air temperatures than traditional Finnish saunas, but the infrared heat penetrates the body more directly. Typical infrared sauna temperature ranges from 120–150 °F but the Heavnly Heat ECO can get up to an impressive 185 °F.
Yes infrared saunas “get hot enough.” The advantage is you get deep, penetrating heat that warms your body, not just the air. This makes sweating, detox, relaxation, and recovery possible without the overwhelming heat of a traditional sauna.
Pricing varies depending on the model and features you'd like. The smallest model is the box infrared sauna at $4500, the eco is $5,600, the 2 person is $7,400 and insane 4 person infrared and red light therapy sauna is $22,200.
